"Four Elemnets" - workshops for children between 5-10 years of age.
"Earth is my body, Water is my blood,
Air is the breath and Fire is my strenght!"
"Four elements" – it is a cycle of workshops for pre-school and school children consisting of four parts: Earth, Water, Air and Fire. Each part of the workshop is separately ran. There are art, theatre, movement and multimedia classes during the time of each part. Each workshop explains for the young participants in an approachable way the meaning of each element in the world of nature and what effects they have on the physical, biological and astronomical phenomenos.
Workshops take place at the ordering institution. Length of time: 70 min.
Two of the four wrokshops were put into effect in the 2006/07 schoolyear:
1. "Earth – the green planet"
2. "Fire – a journey into outer space"
In preparation:
3. "Water – source of life"
4. "Air – invisible world"
In 2006 the Four Elements workshop got a positive feedback from the Department of Public Health of the Łódź City Council and a partial support from public sources for 20 institutions belonging to the Network of Schools and Pre-schools Promoting Health.
Children and also... different animals came to meet Gaia – the Mother Earth.
