The Winter Festival
On 6-12.12.2005 in the Polesie Arts Centre we organized workshops the Festival of Winter. 630 children from Lodz's schools and nurseries took part in the workshops.
During the meeting children:
- Learnt about different customs connected to Christmas and winter solstice
- Hand made Christmas gifts
- Came to know various musical instruments
- Took part in theatrical workshops that taught them about the Christmas' Eve custom of koledowanie; they learnt also about the importance of the human – animal friendship
- Learnt Christmas carols and also with the Tibetan gong music
- Tasted new meals
