The Festival of Insects, Honey and Flowers
On 03-07.04.2006 the FERSO foundation organized ecological workshops titled The Festival of Insects, Honey and Flowers. Over 600 of school children took part in the project.
During the workshops children:
1. Listened to interesting stories about insects
2. Saw an exhibition of the insect beauties
3. Came to know beesmedicines and cosmetics that help to protect our health and beauty
4. Participated in theatrical workshops called 'The Queen of Flowers'
5. During manual lesson hand made a souvenir of beeswax
6. Tasted a honey meal from a forest apiary
7. Learnt how to recognize various insects that live in our forests and on meadows
8. Found out what is the meaning of various flowers for a human and the insects' world
